PRO-TV is the largest most honoured free media arts training program for youth in New York City. I attended and now work here as a Youth Media Instructor. They do programs all year round. As a teaching artist, I have mentored students following a rich curriculum of formal workshops and field experience. The students use state-of-the-industry digital production equipment and edit systems and tour media industry sites. PRO-TV conducts after school and weekend workshops ranging from one to three years that give students opportunities to further their interest in film making. They also provide a Summer Youth media program that this past summer of 2020 was all taught through digital learning.
